About the role
Join our Team as a Carer Engagement Officer on a 7 month contract starting in April 2021 based in our Hurstville office. This part-time position (30 hours per week) is responsible for marketing and recruitment activities for Foster Carers with a focus on quality carer attraction, engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to enquiries from prospective foster carers and help guide them through the application and assessment process Provide relevant information to foster care applicants through enquiry and screening stages Design and implement a carer attraction and engagement plan appropriate to local demand Proactively engage with the community, including attending relevant events Support the family finding work for kinship care or respite options Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in marketing, sales, recruitment or other relevant field and/or equivalent experience Current Drivers Licence Demonstrated knowledge/experience of Foster Care and previous experience of recruiting Foster Carers (desired) Demonstrated experience within the Out of Home Care sector Strong focus to provide a high quality and responsive service to our families and Children & Young People Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with strong communication skillsBenefits
