We are looking for a passionate, highly dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join the team. You will support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including ordering, production schedules, budgeting, training, menu creation and staffing. You will ensure flawless service standards for our guests.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Junior Sous Chef
  • 5-star hotel background/Fine dining or a la carte restaurant
  • Admin experience required: Ordering, Stocktake, Roster/ Performance Management
  • Knowledge of a variety of cooking styles is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, resourcing, and controlling expenses
  • Strong operational leadership and motivation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The desire to succeed and further your career
  • Has led a team of at least 7 chefs
  • Training staff on standards
