Led by Chef Srinivas Polavarapu, Oasis Dining is known for its outstanding and amazing service with a vast menu offering that covert the best of Western and Asian cuisine to give better options to our valued members and regular guests.

We are looking for a Wok Junior Sous Chef to join our phenomenal team and be part of Oasis Dining at The Star Sydney.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have extensive Wok experience
  • Be accountable for leading all aspects of a section of the kitchen to ensure that the operation runs smoothly.
  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Have detailed menu, product, portion control and preparation knowledge
  • Possess full working rights to commit to 40 hours per week on a rotating roster that can include weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts.
  • Be bilingual in Chinese, Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
