About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands

Role Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time

As a Senior Business and Data Analyst you will be responsible for identifying, analysing and documenting all data and business requirements to implement an automated address scrubbing solution to ensure availability of high quality collateral (residential mortgages) for ANZ RMBS (Residential Mortgage Backed Securitisation) program. You will join the existing team of Treasury Systems specialists but will be dedicated to the data remediation initiative and will work closely with Treasury business managers, technology partner/squad, developers, testers and the ABSS support team. 

You will also be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the software application ABSS used by the securitisation deal management teams at ANZ Group Treasury and SCM (Structured Capital Market) Trade Services.

Major Duties

• You will be responsible for eliciting and capturing the business, data and technical requirements as well as facilitating the relationship between Treasury business and the project team and contribute to the resolution of all key design decisions.
• Analyse and explain solution options and recommend the most feasible solution(s) for the business.
• Identify solutions, manage project scope, risks and issues and the end to end delivery schedule.
• Partner with Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure stakeholders and platform team members are aligned
• Responsible for authoring and obtaining approval for the Business Requirements Document and all associated work products and communication to support design, build and testing activities. 
• Good attention to details and strong focus on quality while ensuring adherence/compliance with ANZ policies, processes and standards.
• Supporting business transition and handover to BAU

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

• Proven experience in the Banking & Finance industry and/or compliance projects
• Must have excellent proficiency in T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server stored procedures with the ability to read and debug procedural code
• Strong domain knowledge in retail products preferably experienced in mortgages business and ANZ systems (CAP, MOS, RLS) 
• Strong experience in data extraction, processing, analysis and modelling using MS Excel and VBA macros
• Is outcome focused, adapts to change and employs a growth mindset and is able to focus on what matters
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant experience consistent with ANZ policy
