Volunteer Social Support – Inner West

About the opportunity 

We are seeking volunteers to provide social support (companionship and activity support) to aged care residents across our Inner West aged care homes.

Our social support volunteers play important roles in peopleÂ’s lives; keeping people connected, active and continuing to participate in the activities they love.

We have homes in Marrickville, Haberfield, Lilyfield, Ashfield and Leichhardt.

What you need

• An interest in people and genuine interactions
• Active listening skills
• A few hours a week
• Hobbies or interests you are willing to share e.g. playing chess, knitting, reading, music, bi-lingual, drivers and others

We love learning from our volunteers so if you have a particular skill or hobby, weÂ’d love to hear from you!
