Volunteer Learner Driver Mentor – South Western Sydney

About the opportunity 

120 Countdown is a free program connecting learner drivers with volunteer mentors to complete the 120 hours of driving practice needed before they can go for their Provisional licence. We are seeking volunteers with a full and valid driversÂ’ licence to mentor learner drivers and teach them how to drive.

Access to transport means access to opportunities. Public transport isnÂ’t always an option, so having a driverÂ’s licence opens the road to education and employment opportunities.

Our programs runs across the Cabramatta, Liverpool, Fairfield and Campbelltown and surrounding areas.

What you need

• Full and valid C (car) licence
• A few hours a week
• Compete relevant training – such as UnitingÂ’s Driver Safety e-module and Accidental Counsellor training.

Volunteering with Uniting is subject to satisfactory background checks which include a National Police Check and Reference Checks.
