About the role
This position will provide strategic leadership for RMITs Singapore based programs and initiatives delivered with Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). A key aspect of the role is to ensure continuous program improvement and quality assurance, build innovative industry and alumni engagement opportunities, and deliver exceptional student experiences.
The role involves building strategic partnerships/relationships with industry, government, professional bodies and with relevant educational institutions, including pathway providers, representing RMIT within the region and monitoring key educational developments in Singapore and the region.
The ability to develop positive working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders is critical. The role primarily is with the College of Business and Law, with a close working relationship with the RMIT Global Development portfolio, and all RMIT Colleges of the university.
About you
You will have significant academic management experience at Associate or full Professor level in a leading University. You will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the tertiary sector with a high-level understanding of contemporary pedagogical issues related to different types of delivery. Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of international education and markets, academic compliance and quality frameworks and delivering continuous improvement. Understanding of the drivers of culture and organisation change and evidence of effective strategic academic leadership will be highly advantageous.

This position is located in Singapore for the duration of the assignment. The incumbent will be required to attend functions and events outside normal working hours to promote RMIT. Travel may be required.
