About the job
The position, located within the Future Student Enquiries team, is responsible for handling prospective student enquiries within an agreed timeframe with the aim of converting the enquiry to an enrolment in to a course at Swinburne. The Future Students Enquiries Administrator reports to the Future Student Enquiries Team Leader. This role will participate in recruitment events, deliver one to one course counselling sessions; and work with customers to achieve their career and educational goals.
They will be the first contact point for future students and be expected to resolve a variety of future student questions and issues in the broad fields of recruitment and sales, relationship management, study opportunities and enrolment assistance; via phone, email, online enquiries and online chat channels. Utilising these channels, the role will also be responsible for executing outbound sales conversion campaigns as directed.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of client/customer service within a Contact Centre environment, including demonstrable knowledge of customer service principles and practices, a commitment to the provision of high quality service to a range of clients and to continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Good time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
