About the Job
The Marketing team have an exciting new opportunity for an Events and Project Assistant to join the team and assist with the planning and organisation of major event experiences to help grow student recruitment and bring the Swinburne brand experience to life.

Reporting into the Events and Projects Coordinator, you will support event logistics across physical and digital channels, including venue management, coordinating event set up, liaising with event presenters, suppliers and supporting tracking and reporting of event performance indicators.

You will be required to contribute to the development and implementation of marketing actions to deliver objectives for recruitment events. You will be working with a variety of people, so it is important that you have excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.

About you 
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Qualification in communications or marketing or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Proven experience in event coordination or administration.
  • Excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise and manage numerous tasks to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with multiple stakeholders providing quality service.
