About the Role:

This role is responsible for bringing strong in-house capabilities in the areas of ServiceNow Development, integration and platform administration.  The person will be involved in end-to-end design and development of solutions aligning to key service delivery outcomes and objectives and the Uniting NSW.ACT ITSC technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing analysis of relevant research and operational information and assisting managers to evaluate and integrate the information they receive.
  • Conducting specialised studies as required, providing insights into the operation of the team and the organisation.
  • Coordinating and maintaining team management systems and ensuring relevant information is input on a consistent and regular basis.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage System release (in alignment with IT systems release policy e.g. CAB approval) and communications with Service Desk & Squad.
  • BAU Support (include reviewing incidents) and Co-ordinate with Squad Lead for patch fixes.
  • Responsible for the technical relationship and engagement with ServiceNow vendor.
  • Responsible for contract, license management and related budget.

Qualifications and attributes:  

  • Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Leadership skills or experience
  • Demonstrates solid professional experience in medium to large organisations
  • Experience in engaging stakeholders and developing relationships
  • Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the leading, mentoring and guidance of senior/junior developers
