About the role

We are seeking people with life skills who are caring, compassionate and respectful, who really want to make a positive impact on people with disability to live empowered and independent lives. 

We are seeking people with all different skills sets and lived experiences.

  • Cleaning
  • Gardening
  • Swimming
  • Bike riding
  • Supporting people to learn how to budget
  • Supporting people to build meaningful community connections
  • Supporting people to develop and meet their own personal goals
  • Supporting people to remain connected to their culture, kin and community

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Passionate about delivering Person-Centred support
  • Current Provide First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Managing behaviours of concern – Full training provided
  • Medication Management and health-related supports – Full training provided

Successful candidates will be required to Undergo National Criminal History Record Check prior to starting.

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate.  You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
