About the Role

As a member of the Study@RMIT team you will serve as first point of contact for all prospective international and domestic students enquiring about studying at RMIT University. You will partake in meaningful sales conversations, unearthing the motivations and needs of customers in order to tailor a solution to meet their study needs.

You will work across multiple inbound and outbound channels including Phone, Live Chat, Email and Face to Face, building strong relationships across various internal and external stakeholders, and capture key insights from your conversation to better understand and inform future recruitment strategy and product offerings.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for prospective domestic and international students and engage in sales-based conversations in order to convert prospects into applications and enrolments.
  • Provide professional and accurate information via multiple channels such as Phone, Email, Live Chat and Face to Face
  • Participate in outbound sales campaigns to proactively drive RMIT applications.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained and important metrics are met
  • Maintain an accurate CRM database (Salesforce) of all enquiries, facilitation ongoing data collection, analysis and reporting.

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and service contact centre environment
    (higher education would be advantageous)
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers from various background and levels
  • Exposure to working with CRM systems and MS Office Suite, including compiling basic reports, along with being able to use multiple systems simultaneously
  • Ability to speak multiple languages would be advantageous but not essential (Mandarin, Malay, Bahasa Indonesia and/or Hindi)

In this role, there is a requirement to occasionally work after hours. In addition, you will also be required to work a few weekends per year on key dates within RMIT’s calendar, such as Open Day (notice will be given in advance).

Qualifications:

A relevant qualification and relevant experience, or an equivalent experience.
