What is your mission?

As a Product Owner in the Tribe, our mission is to improve the end to end Business Lending ecosystem by refining processes, implementing a new system and strengthening the risk management framework and infrastructure. With the customer at the heart of your decision making, the Product Owner will constantly prioritise the work and backlog for the squad to ensure we are strategically aligned to our mission and all other interdependencies.  You will drive faster, and more informed decision making, removing friction to deliver a world class experience.  Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver at pace.

What will Your Day look like?

You will be an integral part of the initiative to transform the current Business Lending ecosystem, initially with a focus on the mid-market commercial segment. There are 4 delivery squads and 3 technical squads to drive delivery of the solution, and you will lead one of these squads to deliver the future state.  The new commercial lending platform will be integrated with other ANZ systems to drive a seamless banker experience, covering all credit origination and management activities to replace legacy assets.

This is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity.

You are experienced in design thinking and managing a backlog of work.  You are familiar with the commercial lending origination process, and the systems that support it.
