About the role
The O365 Platform Expert is responsible for the technical management and configuration of RMITs O365 environment. This role will also be reached out for project delivery activities within the M365 space from time to time. This role is also responsible for supporting users with help and training capabilities to promote self-service and ensure theyre using available functionality to help speed up their daily activities. This role is responsible to assist with realising ongoing value from RMITs Office 365 investment by continuing to boost user engagement and drive adoption. The role will manage and prepare for change and hence should be familiar with change management in large organizations. This role will require to continuously improve the M365 services by staying abreast with the dynamic world of M365 and introduce new service offerings that benefit the university.
RMIT has a Global presence, as such this role will require being part of a 24x7 On Call Roster, which will involve working with Technical Engineers across other teams supporting different platforms of the Universitys vast infrastructure.
About you
You will have significant knowledge and expertise across Microsoft 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint online, One Drive for Business, Security and Compliance Centre, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams.
Showcase your previous involvement developing SharePoint Server Farms, Web Application, Site Collection and Sites. As well as experience configuring Azure AD Connect, especially In Multi Forest Setup.
Demonstrated experience in data migration from google platform to Microsoft applications like SharePoint online, One Drive for Business.
Experience in migrating and (analysing data prior) from Google Drive to One Drive for Business (Office 365) is highly regarded.
