About the opportunity
We are currently seeking a supportive and adaptable Aboriginal contact worker to join Unitings Children and Families Contact Team based in Turner ACT.
This is a casual position where you will be working predominantly across Saturdays and Sundays however, availability to work during the week when needed is required.
As a Contact worker you will be responsible for the direct care, supervision and safety of children in Out of Home Care during contact visits with their birth families and significant others. Many of our children and parents you will have likely experienced trauma. Experience working with children who have experienced trauma is desirable but not essential.
