About The Role

Role Location: This position is located in Melbourne.

Role Type: Permanent Full-time

AML Operations Excellence Manager – Controls, is responsible for oversighting the uplift, and on-going management of the FCTM AML end to end control framework.  The role is responsible for understanding FCTMs AML end to end service offering, what key controls are utilized across AML services to mitigate key risks, and maintaining a documented control framework.

The AML Operations Excellence Manager – Controls, will be responsible for the re-assessment of risk and key controls across the AML Investigation lifecycle, and work with FCTMs Quality Control and Assurance partners to ensure the overall AML Operations’ Control Framework is uplifted. Upon determination of key controls, the AML Operations Excellence Manager – Controls, is responsible for determining roles and responsibilities as they relate to AML controls, and ensuring the authority of personnel performing those controls is clearly documented within FCTM procedures in sufficient detail to enable consistent performance/ execution.

  • Proven analytical, influencing and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and execute corrective action
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Experienced in the design and implementation of Key Controls across an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of banking and finance sector with exposure to financial crime beneficial.?
  • Motivated to drive change and support NWOW.
