About The Role

The AML Operations Excellence Manager – Change Readiness & Governance, is part of the Operational Excellence function that provides support to ensure strategic and operational objectives are achieved and in line with agreed service offerings. The function is responsible for a number of key areas in support of the AML/CTF Operations team functions / workstreams.

The AML Operations Excellence Manager – Change Readiness & Governance, oversees the Change Delivery framework and Change Pipeline to ensure delivery controls and robust governance of change impacts to Operations. The Role leads process improvements, development and creation of improvement initiatives to support and enable AML Ops while delivering the best experience to our stakeholders.

The main responsibilities include

  • Finding opportunities to create efficiency gains, mitigate risks, improve operational performance through automation, process redesign and transformation in AML Ops
  • Manages the prioritisation of Ops ExcellenceÂ’s work pipeline based on, insights and priorities from other Ops Excellence Team members, FCP stakeholders, making sure we are meeting our regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to the design, delivery and adherence of frameworks executed by the Ops Excellence Function
  • Contribute continually to enhancing the Ops Excellence function
  • Assists as a filter point for AML Ops Service Offering with stakeholders
  • Representative for Ops Excellence on projects with the delivery team, using SME Team members as required
  • Uplifting the way we do things
  • Leader of centralised oversight of process changes/procedures
  • Leader of centralised driver of initiatives and process improvements to benefit AML/CTF Ops

About You:

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills, knowledge and experiences:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, all levels of employees and management
  • Highly experienced, managing across multi-juristrictional, mult-time zone (different culture)????
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Proven analytical, influencing and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective action
  • Knowledge of the Banking/Finance regulatory environment specifically on AML/CTF legislation, Financial Crime and appreciation of emerging trends
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver a high performing team.
