Noah’s Ark Preschool is the home of one of the longest standing and highest achieving Preschools in the area and operates in partnership with the Quakers Hill Uniting Church. Our community based service is approved for 40 children and fosters a personalised and caring approach for children and families. Our newly refurbished indoor open learning spaces are warm and welcoming and our large outdoor area provides a stimulating environment for children to explore. Our team is dedicated to creating an environment for learning, personal growth, and confidence.

About the role

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support to the Director and centre, including but not limited to, responding to telephone enquiries; producing documents; filing and archiving; communicating information to families, community members and educators; general administrative duties.

This is a Permanent, Part-time role, minimum of 24 hours a fortnight, with the potential for more hours during the busy periods. 

What do I need to succeed?

You will be an excellent communicator and have an eye for detail. You will be goal oriented with an easy-going nature. You must have experience in finance, have general book-keeping experience and an understanding of Excel and Word. It will be ideal if you have an understanding of MYOB and of marketing, have initiative and can clearly think on your feet. You will be a strong team player who is able to commit to further professional development. Above all, you must enjoy being around children and a busy work environment.

* This position requires you to hold a current paid Working with Children’s Checks (WWCC)
