About The Role

Role Location: Brooklyn Office located at -11 Little Boundary Rd, Laverton North, Melbourne VIC 3026

Note that this role has flexibility to work from our Geelong office as well

ANZ Emerging Corporate specialises in providing a range of tailored solutions that help our customers manage their cash flow and working capital requirements, along with providing support to business owners to help them achieve their strategic plans and growth aspirations.

Our customers are Australian based family owned and corporate businesses with debt requirements of up to AUD$35million.

 

The Assistant Manager role is an integral part of business service proposition. The incumbent will assist the Relationship Credit Manager and Relationship Manager to develop sustained business growth whilst maintaining sound risk management to ensure that a quality portfolio is maintained. To maximise returns to the group, the position will require a close working relationship with our product specialists.

 

  • Deliver business growth through development of plans for new customer acquisitions
  • Support product cross-sell agenda to new and existing clients by working closely with product partners
  • Participate in and manage aspects of the sales & onboarding process with particular attention paid to credit approval activities whilst maintaining appropriate credit quality standards
  • Maximise own development and performance by executing against agreed development plan
  • Meet ANZ requirements and adhere to policy in relation to compliance, risk and behaviours

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong financial analysis and understanding of the structuring of security arrangements
  • Demonstrated customer service (internal and external) including relationship building
  • Excellent Communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Interpersonal Skills: confidence, professionalism, integrity and strong sense of accountability
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail    
  • Tertiary Qualification in a business related field
