The Australian Transformation team is seeking talent as we look to reimagine banking for the future. As part of the team you will design and deliver compelling customer-centric solutions focused on improving the financial wellbeing of ANZ’s retail and commercial customers.

As a Platform Analyst working within Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for the design, build and maintenance of a technical roadmap capability for the Platform Engineering team that enables input and transparency across the engineering community. You will understand the importance of strong customer interfaces and be an advocate for the services built by the engineering team. The Platform Engineering team is responsible for abstracting the complexities of the cloud, so that application features can move from development to production in a seamless, secure and fully automated manner and we need you to help us on our journey.

You’ll create a lasting impact by-

  • Working with Product Owners on roadmaps, feature design, prioritisation and user story elaboration
  • Domain modelling to establish common language between disparate SMEs and stakeholders
  • Facilitating rapid decision making for the team
  • Building and managing our service catalogue and knowledgebase microsite

What You’ll Bring with You-

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience using media rich approaches to convey complex ideas
  • Ability to quickly absorb new knowledge and make fuzzy inferences about it
  • Strong business analysis leveraging structured thinking, reporting and workflow modelling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, you can find clear paths through ambiguity
  • An eye for detail - as a member of a team responsible for quality control, your willingness to iteratively improve precision & clarity is paramount
  • Passionate about the importance of user experience in shaping engineering outcomes
  • Familiarity with assets/services provided by a major cloud provider (GCP preferred)
  • Familiarity with documentation site frameworks, e.g. Jekyll, Gatsby, Docusaurus, GitPages etc.
