About The Role
Role Location: 242 Pitt Street, Sydney
Role Type: 12 month Secondment, Full Time


The Markets Data team have a broad mandate for improving the integrity, management and governance of data within ANZ Markets. 


The DDO Project are driving a Data remediation within Existing tactical systems to meet regulatory deadlines by Oct 2021, and prepare the data for migration to the Strategic solution. 
The “DDO Project – Data Analyst” will be reporting to the ‘Associate Director – Markets Data Governance & Strategy’ and primary responsibilities include:

  • Business and data analysis, including processing and collating information on DDO project data sources.
  • Working with other team members to assist in the delivery of DDO Project objectives – including data standards, taxonomy, metrics, controls, standards, etc
  • Assisting with data remediation activities as required, working with business teams

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge and experience in the following:
Skillset:

  • Data analysis, Modelling experience and Business analysis, including business process analysis or design
  • MS Excel and – ideally - SQL or MI/ Analytics (or related) capabilities and is confident using other MS Office tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with Business as well as Technology Stakeholders in the organisation

Industry and domain experience:

  • A Banking background and ideally operated in a Markets / IB environment.
  • Data Governance / Management / Reference / Static  / Master Data preferred
  • Data Science Qualifications (Nice to have)
