Project Officer/ Analyst

• Support the Snr PMO with the day to day running of the program office and maintenance and support for a Program Delivery team within Digital Transformation.

About The Role

As a Project Officer/Analyst, you will support the Snr PMO and project by overseeing, managing and performing a number of duties to ensure smooth running and management of key project office tasks, adhering to project governance guidelines and processes. You are also expected to perform tasks to manage and, or support the Snr PMO with procurement & vendor management, financial management and management of investment budgets for the program team, as a whole. You will have oversight of the management of risk, issue, dependency and PPM project governance data requirements. This may also require active monitoring, follow up and correction of these records in the source system. Good communication skills are required as you will be working across multiple work streams and teams to qualify information.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience in working as a PMO or project / program administrator, analyst or coordinator within large project or a medium to large corporate environment.
• Familiar with the use of agile delivery principles and exposure to different delivery approaches, waterfall, iterative and incremental.
• Hands on experience with software tools such as Microsoft SharePoint 2016 & the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project, Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, HP PPM, Ariba.
• Working knowledge of investment management & delivery frameworks and corporate BAU processes to support the day to day running of a program team. (ideal, but not essential)
• Familiar with PMO / project management disciplines of risk, issue, dependency, schedule, finance, vendor / resource management and governance. Appropriate university degree or relevant qualifications PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, MoP, P3O, CAPM, PMP. (ideal, but not essential)
