  • Multiple roles available for experienced senior risk analysts and risk managers. Permanent and fixed term arrangements.
  • Drive credit risk requirements for risk initiatives, including roll out of Statement of Position to various products and channels; integrating Open Banking data within credit risk environment and other digital risk initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership in digital projects to rationalise, simplify and improve credit policy deployment, acquisition front end strategy, and process

 

About The Role

Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands

Role Type: Permanent and 12 month fixed term, Full time opportunities available

 

Responsibility for Serviceability Initiatives strategy, acquisition quality measurement, monitoring and reporting mechanisms used by Risk to support the business in understanding the segmented dynamics of business written and performance via vintage, including insights into actions to maximising operational efficiencies whilst optimising bad debt charge and ROE across secured and unsecured products. Your role will also require portfolio/project management skills to assist in strategy development and implementation as well as managing projects to ensure timelines are met. 

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong Knowledge of credit life cycle processes, and business. Back ground across several risk divisions and or been in senior analytical roles across at least two financial organisations
  • Demonstrated understanding of requirements, acts and legislation impacting lending practices
  • Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem solving. Proven technical ability supersede by more recent focus on behavioural management and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to use decision systems
  • Proven capability to design strategies
  • Proven capability and communication ability to stakeholders
  • Proven computer skills including: statistical software (e.g. SAS, Model Builder, DP triad, probe, tallyman, debt manager etc.), Microsoft applications
  • Well-developed written and oral skills. Proven ability to manage up, good stakeholder management and engagement from senior staff
  • Sound understanding of Global best practice acquisition & collection environments, strategies and techniques.
  • Strong experience in risk management, managed strategies for both retail and commercial products (3+ products)
  • Strong understanding of ANZ Existing source and MIS systems or proven ability to design, enhance and work with MIS sources
  • Strong Ability to communicate up (one level above previous role) and amongst peer groups. proven ability to articulate and get agreement on both growth and reduction credit strategies in acquisitions
  • Skilled at the use of fact in discussions and communication with staff and peers
  • Demonstrated financial skills in portfolio management
