About The Role

Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Permanent role; full-time

This is a great opportunity to join our Remuneration squad which provides specialised rewards expertise and support to ANZ’s businesses while also leading and implementing ANZ-wide initiatives and rewards processes.

As an Employee Journey Expert you will develop and deliver end-to-end employee journeys within the scope and mission of the Reward and Pay tribe. Your role will have a specific focus on remuneration data and reporting, including supporting a number of key initiatives in the delivery of our annual performance and remuneration review. Your ability to interrogate, validate and provide insights will enable you to support the maintenance and governance of our remuneration data and you will collaborate with team members, Talent & Culture Business partners, and business leaders, as part of this process.  You will influence strategic direction by translating insights into practical recommendations and presenting data in digestible, logical and compelling ways and you will understand the power of data and analytics to improve the employee experience and deliver business value. At times you may also provide remuneration consulting and analysis services to deliver globally consistent processes that support ANZ's remuneration and reward strategy

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide specialised consulting and analytical support to deliver globally consistent processes across a broad range of rewards and benefits activities.
  • Support the delivery of Remuneration reporting and programs, applying your strong data analysis, organisational and delivery skills
  • Translate business requirements into actionable insights and provide reporting for the Annual performance and remuneration review
  • Develop the requirements for the T&C new technology platform (Success Factors)
  • Drive collaboration within the team and across the broader T&C function, particularly as part of the Annual Performance & Remuneration review
  • Play a role in the management, design and execution of our annual performance and remuneration review process
  • Perform in-depth market analysis utilising remuneration surveys and other data points to develop insights into employee needs and behaviour
  • Deliver and management of select survey submission
  • Be a passionate ambassador for our new way of working and culture

The radical redesign of our function has seen traditional HR accountabilities renamed, and aligned to the Agile methodology with tribes, squads and chapters – but name changes are just the beginning. The transformation of Talent and Culture has us putting the employee at the heart of everything we do and embracing agile ways of working and human-centred design to focus on delivering better end-to-end experiences for our people. This role will provide you with varied opportunities to strengthen your existing skills, develop new skills and continually learn in line with your personal aspirations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong experience with remuneration data in a large, complex, global organisation, with the ability to reconcile data from multiple sources and clearly present metrics for stakeholders consumption
  • Ability to leverage available data to tell a story & develop insights into employee and business needs and behaviour, ensuring they are represented in the design of solutions
  • Ability to explore business needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes and iterate
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity, managing competing priorities, consulting with multiple stakeholders and translating requirements into solutions
  • Advanced excel skills and ideally experience working with Peoplesoft and/or SuccessFactors
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management experience with stakeholders (including Talent & Culture, business leaders, external vendors and with broad employee groups)
  • Excellent research, analytical (advanced in excel) and problem solving skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Proven project management and planning skills to support initiatives, both within the Remuneration squad and at times more broadly across Talent & Culture
  • Previous Remuneration experience & demonstrated understanding of/involvement in core Remuneration activities is desirable (e.g. remuneration consulting, market analysis, survey submissions).
