About the role
Manage a Residential Care Home with a wide range of responsibilities for managing the home including supervision and rostering of staff, managing program budgets and activities and establishment of a safe homelike environment.
This role works with other key Care Team members to lead the implementation of the CARE model and ensure the home provides a therapeutic environment which actively engages children and young people in activities and routines to support them to learn life skills including emotional regulation, problem solving and social competencies. The role is primarily based within the home environment.
Working with the CARE model you will strive to enhance the lives of young people in our Residential out of home care program incorporating a therapeutic, trauma informed approach.
