We are looking for an assistant manager who is passionate about great restaurants and developing their career. You will assist the Restaurant Manager to lead the team and support in the achievement of the financial and operational targets.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead and empower the team to continuously deliver an exciting experience in line with our service culture
  • Maintain a constant presence on the floor, recognise and engage our VIP guests
  • Make recommendations to maximise revenue, minimise cost and increase guest experience
  • Review and analyse the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product and expenses on budget
  • Assist in managing the selection, training and development of your team

The ideal candidate will be someone with:

  • Extensive restaurant management experience in a high-volume, dynamic venue is highly regarded
  • Strong product knowledge, particularly the Japanese menu is advantageous
  • Confidence to lead a large and diverse team of 50
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster that can include weekends, evenings and public holidays.
