About The Role
Role Location: Sydney, NSW
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time 

In partnership with the Director of Government Transaction Banking, the Associate Director Government will be responsible for driving quality revenue growth by identifying and executing sales opportunities within the Transaction Banking Government portfolio. You will be owning the entire sales process for the portfolio, from proactively taking and pitching new Transaction Banking ideas, concepts and solutions to existing Government clients through to executing transactions and ongoing management of these deals. 

Accountabilities

  • Generating quality revenue across a portfolio of Government clients
  • Driving strong client engagement
  • Adhering to the highest risk management standards through an awareness of, and adherence to, all personal and organisational compliance obligations
  • Delivering client insights
  • Ensuring awareness and consistent execution in alignment with latest processes, policies, and documentation requirements


About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Degree qualified in Business or Finance (post graduate degree highly regarded)
  • Extensive experience and product knowledge of the Transaction Banking and Institutional Banking client set (minimum 8 years)
  • Excellent team player with high level of sales discipline and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated skills in senior stakeholder management, collaboration
