We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN), to work at our boutique Rainbow Tick accredited, 60-bed home in Emerald.

We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Registered Nurse (Resident Wellness Manager), who is able to provide clinical leadership and ensure delivery of person-centred care to the residents. This position is supported by an experienced Clinical Governance Executive and team. This is a Monday to Friday role, however more hours are always on offer if you so choose. This model of care is a collaboration with residents and their families, and requires multi-skilled staff who are agile and willing to do things differently.

The successful applicant will be:

• A Registered Nurse currently registered in Australia (APHRA) without any notation
• A confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a passion for leading clinical outcomes
• Minimum 2-years RN experience in aged care in Australia
• Postgraduate qualifications in gerontology, Dementia Care, Palliative Care or Wound Management or relevant discipline desirable but not mandatory
• Focused on improving quality of life of the residents
• Demonstrated success in clinical leadership roles
• Understanding of aged care funding models
• Clinical governance skills will be highly regarded
• Sound clinical decision-making skills
• Sound understanding of relevant legislation and experience in meeting Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and have a balanced and level-headed approach to emergency and stressful situations that arise
• Excellent computer skills
• Highly organised with proven ability to appropriately prioritise tasks in a busy environment
• Ability to use computer software in the delivery of care services
• Hold a current drivers license
• Work across all Lifeview homes should the need arise - Emerald, Chelsea, Wheelers Hill and Cranbourne
• Please note: You must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to work in aged care
