What we are looking for

We are currently looking for Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join the team reporting to the Manager of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable. This role is part of our corporate division leading the Accounts Receivables process in accordance with business objectives

Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:

• Maintain administrative systems, and policies and procedures for the Accounts Receivable function.
• Lead and manage the performance and development of the Accounts Receivable Officers to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Ensure the timely and accurate issuing of invoices and debt collection.
• Ensure Invoice & Credit Requests are duly authorised by the appropriate person within all business groups (in accordance with Delegations of Authority)
• Obtain Credit Reporting and assess credit applications.
• Review Master Debtor accounts and resolve collections issues.
• Maintain Debtor Master Files for relevant Business Units.
• Liaise with Administrators/Liquidators where required.
• Liaise with business and customers in respect of invoicing, account queries and overdue accounts.
• Manage billing, reporting and monthly statements for the assigned Business Units
• Provide information to internal and external auditors.
• Identify, recommend and assist in implementation of Accounts Receivable process improvements
• Maintain the reconciliations of the relevant balance sheet accounts to ensure the integrity between the General Ledger and the Oracle subsidiary modules

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3- 5 years working in an accounts receivable position (preferably in a Corporate environment)
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting qualified is essential
• Experience managing end to end invoicing process
• Proficient with invoicing and receivables applications (Opera PMS desirable)
• Intermediate or higher practical skills working with Microsoft Office specifically MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word
• Demonstrated experience resolving debt collection issues
