This position is responsible for leading and supervising all statutory, regulatory, legal and organisational policies, processes and procedures of the Hospitality portfolio - encompassing Restaurants, Bars, Special Events and Nightclubs. You will validate compliance with all agreed processes and operating procedures, as well as examine and improve workflow efficiencies and provide business leads assurance that these are being adhered to.

Key responsibilities in the role are, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, review and monitor all regulatory requirements for Hospitality venues and Special Events to ensure processes and procedures are in place to ensure compliance
  • Consolidate and align cross-departmental business practices to improve operational accountability and consistency
  • Work with the business to identify high-risk operational practices and ensure adequate controls are documented
  • Continually review operational processes to ensure that they are efficient and balance operational controls with efficiency improvements
  • Partner with Operations, Group Compliance, and Risk teams to deliver quality and compliant outcomes

The ideal candidate will be someone with:

  • Previous experience in Compliance or Assurance
  • Strong understanding of Hospitality business processes and Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Ability to build and manage relationships at multiple levels and functions
  • Good written and verbal communication
