About the role

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

We’re looking for an exceptional Operations Business Analyst to join our team, on a permanent basis, and contribute towards the exciting delivery of 2 new ambient Automated DCs.

 

What you’ll be doing
You’ll collaborate with multiple business functions to integrate the Automated DC operating model into the broader business This role will provide you with exposure to key strategic programs, to enable Smarter Selling and modernise our supply chain.

Other ways you can make an impact include:

  • support the identification of business impacts and formulating effective change management and activity plans
  • provide necessary ad-hoc support to go live phases for onsite teams
  • defining the processes to be executed across the impacted business landscape
  • scoping and facilitating the delivery of projects that improve business performance across all business functions - either through increasing efficiency or growing revenue
  • partnering with business units to collectively assess process, systems issues and opportunities, as well as identifying initiatives and preparing business cases as required
  • leading the delivery of small initiatives to integrate the Automated DC into Central Operations teams
  • supporting the transition of existing supply chain operation to a new target state including the Automated DC
  • act as change agent and conduit into BAU teams; driving change across the business

 

Good things you’ll need

  • knowledge and understanding of key supply chain principles and our supply chain processes
  • a proven track record as a Business or Operations Analyst, using analytical problem solving and insights to improve processes or systems in a retail or similar environment
  • knowledge of information systems development, testing principles, project methodologies and practices
  • demonstrated experience working successfully with senior management to identify, scope and deliver initiatives aligned to business objectives – this can relate to process optimisation and system implementation
  • a strong work ethic with high energy, coupled with the ability to confidently communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the business (as well as external suppliers) to drive positive outcomes which directly impact profitability
  • proven ability to manage and prioritise conflicting demands and deliver results when under time/resource pressures
  • ability to drive continuous improvement of our methodologies and tools to support project delivery
