Assistant Sous Chef | Harvest

We are currently in search of an experienced and talented Assistant Sous Chef to work closely with our venue Harvest at The Star Gold Coast. In this role you will assist in all aspects of kitchen operations including training, menu creation and staffing. You will ensure our guests receive thrilling and memorable experiences, each and every time.

We are specifically looking for someone who has:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
• Previous leadership experience in a busy, kitchen environment
• Experience driving quality and consistency ensuring the team delivers to the highest standards
• A passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning
• A strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
• Passion, enthusiasm and flair in the culinary space
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
