The Merchandise team at Coles plays a critical role and pride themselves on building sustainable long term supplier relationships, developing new range offers and ideas, and working on convenient, healthy solutions.

About the role

Reporting through to the Process Lead Analyst you will support the administration and communications relating to supplier price increases, in order to support Coles in meeting its compliance obligations. You will communicate with the merchandise team and suppliers.

 

What you'll be doing

This position will see you managing a variety of administrative tasks, supporting allocated Business Category Manager groups. You will require solid interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally and effectively with key stakeholders. 

 

You'll also:

  • Manage supplier communication and support submission of information.
  • Provide status reports covering each CPU to the Business Unit/Business Category Manager Groups.
  • Assist with workflow and embed process, flagging any pending compliance risks.
  • Capture key data and liaise with stakeholders to provide effective outcomes. 

 

Good things you'll need

This position will suit a detail-oriented person, who has prior experience in and enjoys administrative tasks.

 

You'll also need:

  • A strong customer service and administration background.
  • A commercial mindset and ability to think laterally.
  • A proactive nature which drives you to go above and beyond to get the job done. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • An analytical mindset and efficiency in working with reports.
