About the role

 

The Supply Manager is responsible for leading the tactical planning and delivery, continuous improvement and supplier collaboration for the Fresh Produce category.

Contributing to our functional strategy, you will focus on optimising planning processes, enhancing forecasting accuracy and continually striving to increase availability.

 

Partnering with the Category Manager to deliver strategic objectives for the category, you will build strong relationships to allow collaboration with a large range of suppliers, developing synchronisation to enhance service and costs.

 

Representing supply chain in the supplier engagement process as a key stakeholder, as the Supply Manager you will also identify end to end improvement opportunities through designing supplier management solutions that will ultimately provide the best possible product availability for our customers.

 

Good things you’ll need

 

  • Supply and demand planning experience gained in a Retail or FMCG supply chain, managing a category with a significant variety of SKU’s.
  • A collaborative approach to solving network challenges and optimising availability.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to question processes and provide creative solutions to mitigate supply risks.
  • Experience in managing supply chain network models and system levers to achieve supply metrics.
  • An innate set of skills in negotiation, procurement and contract management, creating new agreements and collaborating with top tier vendors.
  • The ability to build strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience influencing and navigating a complex matrix structure.
