Cloud Engineer – Platform Services

The role:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will use your experience to design and implement automation strategies with the guidance of your peers from Technical Leadership and Architecture.

You will champion, and practice great cloud / automation principals while empowering your peers to uplift their capability and quality. You will create a great team culture, by role modelling the technical standards, behaviours, collaborative approach and mindset to your fellow engineers

Good things you’ll need:

• Proven ability as an engineer working with cloud, infrastructure and DevOps within a commercial environment.
• Experience working with product development teams
• Experience working in complex system architectures, operations and support structures
• Experience delivering outcomes as part of a cross-functional group, using onshore/offshore delivery model and with 3rd party vendors and integrators
• Commercial experience in the following technologies: Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure and Python. Java is a bonus
• Experience working with a CI/CD platform, e.g. Azure DevOps
