About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduations Officer to come join us in the Student Administration and Library Services department.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Graduations, you will contribute to the provision of high-level customer service for both internal and external customers of the University. The role responds to client needs and operates with a strong team focus.

As a Graduations Officer, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient delivery of all aspects of graduations, including coordination of awards for students, onshore and offshore graduation ceremonies, and award mail outs.

The role also contributes to the efficient, effective and timely delivery of the range of functions across Student Administration and Library Services as required.

About You
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
  • Experience in the provision of high-quality events within a demanding client focused and deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently, and to liaise effectively with students, staff and other stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to handle confidential information in sensitive and high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and undertake tasks within the context of University policies, procedures and regulations, including the ability to identify areas for process improvement.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience or completion of an associate diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or educational training.
