About the role
The purpose of the Carer Assessor role is to facilitate and complete the assessment process of foster carer applicants and to ensure the assessment process is undertaken in accordance with Life Without Barriers standards and procedures.
Based at our office in Burnie this position is being offered as a permanent part-time (4 days per week) appointment, however a full-time appointment can be negotiated. However, due to COVID-19 we are currently working a combination of at home and in the office until further notice.
The position comes with a laptop, phone and tool of trade vehicle.

Skills & Experience
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and hold Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.
