About the Scholarship
As part of Swinburne’s exciting Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) project, we’re looking for a Masters candidate to join the core multidisciplinary research team at VH2. We are seeking people who wish to work at the nexus of humans and technology, and who have the aptitude to undertake solution-focused research as part of a broader multidisciplinary research team.
Led by Swinburne University of Technology, working in partnership with CSIRO and Germany’s ARENA 2036, VH2 will bring together researchers, industry partners and business. Testing, trialling and demonstrating new and emerging hydrogen technologies, the Victorian Hydrogen Hub will support sustainable manufacturing practices and the ability to store clean energy from renewable sources, striving to create a sustainable future for all.
A specific focus of this Masters is on exploring how diversity influences experiences of working in the hydrogen industry. In particular, this project focuses on understanding the enabling attributes for women and people with diverse backgrounds taking up leadership positions in the emerging industry. The project will provide insights into how the nascent industry can create further opportunities for gender and social equity going forward.
