About the Role

Provide coordination, communication and project support to the Director, Disability & Mental Health for QLD. This is a permanent part time (4 days per week) position that is flexible in location. This is a fast paced position where agility, organisation and relationships are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the implementation of Strategic and Business Plans for the Director and proactively work with stakeholders to ensure achievement of timelines, budgets and outcomes, and providing updates as required
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, collation of papers, venue bookings, taking accurate and clear minutes and supporting the Director to ensure appropriate follow up on actions
  • Ensure the Director is prepared for all meetings including developing appropriate briefing materials
  • Manage inbox and calendar
  • Coordinate and collate operational reporting, including provision of overview, analysis and insights
  • Coordinate risk management reporting and progress towards organisational risk mitigations

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role e.g. Executive Support, Project Coordinator
  • Proven experience in building and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated experience in research, analysis of data and provision of information
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to consider strategic implications of decisions / actions
  • Written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and collate organisation reporting and papers on complex and sensitive matters
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
