About the Role
The Carer Assessor, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for responding to local enquiries from prospective Foster Carers, maintaining contact with these applicants during the consideration phase, conducting initial phone interview/s and referring suitable enquiries to local Carer Assessors.
The incumbent will support and guide Carers through required training and as required deliver training modules for carer applicants and approved carers.
As this position provides an invaluable first impression of LWB, it is essential the person fulfilling this role has a warm and engaging approach and can model the qualities we are seeking in Foster Carers.
This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and is based at our office in Townsville.
Skills & Experience
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
