About the Role

Working across our Programs in Orange, you will assist clients to achieve their goals through the provision of daily living support, mentorship, community access and various activities during the day. You will need to be available for a range of shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster. The ideal candidate will be one with experience as a Disability Support Worker supporting youth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow person centred support plans to support our client in line with his needs and preferences
  • Personal care
  • Manual handling
  • Complete documentation and reporting requirements
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with the client and his family

Skills & Experience 

  • Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to client support plans and complete documentation

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
