Disability Development & Support Officer. Perm Part Time - Bundoora

Cert IV Disability required with experience managing behaviours of concern. This is a career opportunity to make a real difference in your community and to people's lives. The house is situated in Bundoora, surrounded by parks, cafes, and amenities. Assistance and support are required with meal planning and preparation, domestic chores, and community access.

About the role

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability.

Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
• Community Access & Transport
• Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
• Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• Certificate IV Community Welfare, Disability or similar
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
