About the role

Working in our Lifestyle program in Townsville, you will support our clients with community access, community participation, mentoring and an element of personal care. These shifts operate Monday - Sunday with occasional weekend work required (5pm-730pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
• Community Access & Transport
• Mentoring
• Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
• Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate
• Prior experience in the industry, supporting clients with challenging behaviours

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).

• Pay rate from $30.46 + super per hour, with guaranteed hours per fortnight
