About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne VIC
Role Type: 12-months Fixed-term, Full-time Opportunity

As an Iteration and Flow Manager, you will be part of the Credit Process Transformation (CPT) program in Institutional Banking, working in a cross-functional team supporting the delivery of strategic digital initiatives to improve the lives of our bankers and drive efficiencies on how they manage our customers. CPT Program delivers end to end credit process automation, straight through processing, and digitisation to contribute to the experience strategy for the Bank– ideating and evolving. 

You will act as a change agent collaborating with business, technology, and change SMEs to drive performance and efficiency across the program. Your role is dynamic, and you will design fit-for-purpose processes with the squads you work with, using data-driven experiments to drive process optimisation. You will help squads to manage flow of delivery, and jump in to facilitate different ceremonies and feedback loops with the teams.

You will work alongside the Agile and Performance Lead to help drive Process Optimisation on a strategic level across the entire program. You will take an active role in empowering and educating squads across the program to uplift their system thinking to help drive an evolutive approach to process improvement and global optimisation.

What your day will look like

  • Process optimization: Use Kanban method to drive global optimisation in our delivery capability
  • Change agent: Drive change, coach and support team's improvement using an evolutive approach (gentle, consistent and low-resistance)
  • Facilitation: Facilitate ceremonies on both squad and program levels (Backlog Replenishment, planning sessions, retrospective, quarterly plan, …)
  • Data driven: Help teams understand and implement effective metrics on things that impact value driven delivery. Help teams to use data to drive improvement
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders and technology to deliver new and in-flight initiatives (run elaboration sessions, work with squads on product vision, etc). Foster collaboration across different squads to drive systemic improvements in the program.
  • Outcome focus: Consistent focus on outcomes, value and benefits when working with squads
  • Coaching: Upskill Product Owners and other roles to work effectively with squads. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Confident and empathetic leadership style with excellent communication skills presenting messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner. 
  • Minimum Kanban System Design (KMP I) certification, preferably with KMP (Kanban Management Professional (KMP)
  • Build rapport and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to scope and plan activities whilst delivering to the best possible customer outcomes.
  • Coach and guide teams to apply an evolutive approach when driving process improvements. Helps others develop their skills and fosters an energetic, vibrant team culture.
  • Has a growth mindset and a desire to constantly learn and identify opportunities for improvement in our services, processes, and community.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience <5+> years as a Change Agent, as evidenced in your resume and experiences.
  • Knowledge on different agile practices and frameworks and demonstrable ability to design fit-for-purpose processes using different practices to solve bottlenecks and to drive improvements
