About The Role

Role Location: Melbourne or Sydney

Role Type: Fixed-Term (12 months), Full-Time

The ANZ Control Room, part of the Compliance Division, is seeking a Business Analyst for a strategic transformation project. We require an enhancement of the current infrastructure to uplift conflict management arrangements across our global footprint. Improved technology and data capability will enable better employee experience, more effective identification, monitoring, insights and ongoing management of conflict scenarios, in line with industry standards and regulator expectations.

As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to the project team in solving complex problems and implementation issues. You will collaborate with the Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of technology solutions to support the global operating model and meet regulatory requirements for various jurisdictions. You will also assist the Project Manager in process design, eliciting business requirements, hosting training workshops for front end users and the implementation of the user platform. You will understand and be able to document processes, policies, roles and responsibilities between teams, and technology workflows and participate in the planning and design and execution of QA/UAT testing of applications.

About You:

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills, knowledge and experiences:

  • Technical minded with background in software application, customer service and/or business support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive business analysis skills with experience of providing detailed and clear project documentation, process and workflow mapping skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask, organise and prioritise
  • Experience working with workflow systems.
  • Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and to consistently execute within the project timeline
  • Possess a general understanding of the current regulatory environment and financial markets and/or securities regulation and rules

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills, knowledge and experiences:

  • Proven experience in the elicitation of requirements and business implementation activities for large scale software projects
  • Proven experience in the change process at ANZ.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Experience in the creation of training plans and facilitation of training to large groups of stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. 
  • Communication plan and roll out
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team of Journey Experts focussing on professional growth.  
  • Team player
  • Ability to work across multiple large initiatives.
