About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands, Melbourne, VIC, 3008, Australia

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time 


As a Service & Enablement Lead you will provide operational support to a broad range on stakeholders across the Institutional business unit with a specific focus on investigating & resolving complex customer/internal enquiries relating to Transaction Banking product/processes.

In addition, the role will also be responsible for ensuring business processes completed by team are being undertaken accurately and effectively, providing coaching & training to team members and assisting with the identification and implementation of process/risk improvement initiatives.

  • Managing complex enquiries and escalations from line manager, team members and internal stakeholders across the Institutional business (account/relationship managers, product owners, technology partners etc) in a timely and customer centric manner.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and updating of key procedure documents
  • Actively contribute and participate in initiatives and process enhancements aimed at preventing/reducing incidents & losses and improving efficiency
  • Assisting with/undertaking key fulfilment activities when required  
  • Assist in the root cause analysis of incidents and champion solutions to add benefit to the customer and the bank.
  • Reviewing & analysing data/internal payments to proactively identify & prevent potential revenue leakage or erroneous fee charging.
  • Monitoring, investigating and validating transactions passed through designated internal office accounts  


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 


  • Strong knowledge/understanding of Transaction Banking products and Institutional systems
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables etc)
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Sound stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Ability to use initiative, work autonomously and manage time & priorities
  • Ability to analyse and investigate problems and develop a solution
  • Proven experience in developing, building and maintaining effective customer and stakeholder relationships

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (Complex Formulas, Pivot Tables, Data Cleansing & Visualisation, Power Query etc)
  • Experience developing & coaching Frontline team members.
