About the Role
Come join the Timetable and Resources department as our new Manager, Scheduling Services. In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all academic course and unit scheduling delivery data for courses across all Divisions of the University, and the provision of scheduling and resource booking services for all staff and students.
You will also be responsible for the consolidation of the Higher Education and VET invigilated exam Timetables to form a Central Timetable. This is done via optimisation of campus resources as well as the consolidation and collation of data from numerous sources into one source of truth.
The Manager, Scheduling Services will ensure the timetable scheduling system and processes are effectively applied to achieve optimum resource usage and effective delivery of all teaching programs as well as the effective management of all course data to support critical administrative processes such as student timetables, class registration, exam scheduling event bookings as well as consider external legislative requirements.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
· Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including an ability to build and establish strong relationships with individuals internal and external to the University and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels in a collaborative manner.
· Experience in the development and administration of procedures and policies in a large, multi-faceted organisation.
· Ability to lead, motivate and train team members, to establish priorities and manage competing deadlines for self and others.
· Proven ability to exercise initiative, think strategically and creatively and to adopt an active approach to problem solving.
Qualifications
A degree in a relevent area of study, with at least five years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant University experience and education/training.
