About the role
As Swinburne’s Student Acquisition Journey Squad continues to expand our capability across web and digital channels, we’re on the hunt for a Website Author to help us plan and execute end-to-end user journeys for key audience segments, from lead generation through to enrolment.

As our Website Author, you’ll support the development, implementation and maintenance of website experiences, utilising your existing content authoring knowledge and bringing your own brand of problem-solving and creativity.  Your work will be enhanced with inputs on UX design, SEO and analytics, to create best practice strategies and seamless customer experiences.

The role will require the authoring of new website pages along with editing and maintaining existing pages, including landing pages, article pages, content pages and forms. You’ll populate these with approved content, digital assets and metadata, and work with our Digital Marketing colleagues and IT Support teams to resolve any technical issues and contribute ideas towards our Adobe Experience Manager product roadmap.  Your guidance on components and page layout best practice will be invaluable to the team, as will your leadership on the check-listing and approvals processes.

Experience writing for the web would be advantageous, as you’ll be required to optimise headings, apply appropriate tone of voice, write relevant CTAs, page titles, page descriptions, meta data and format content to ensure web pages are optimised for our users and highly discoverable on search engines.

About you
·       You have demonstrated experience working in Adobe Experience Manager or equivalent enterprise-level content management systems in a content authoring capacity.
·       You’ve implemented content development plans and activities across numerous formats, and have experience translating business goals into meaningful website experiences.
·       You’re thorough. If you’re briefed on a web update that’s likely to compromise other components on the page, you consider the most resolved solution before executing.
·       You have that winning combination of ‘happy to collaborate’ and ‘I’ll get it sorted’.
·       Your stakeholder management skills are as finely tuned as your adherence to deadlines and your management of priorities.

Qualifications
A degree in marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
