We have an opportunity for a dedicated individual to work within a dynamic sales team here at The Star Entertainment Group. This position would suit a sales-focused person who thrives on building interpersonal relationships with VIP customers, whilst maintaining a high level of organisation to deliver a world-class experience. 

As a part of the VIP Interstate Sales & Marketing team, you will actively engage, develop, and grow The Star Entertainment Group Interstate Market through relationship marketing to support the Star Sydney, Star Gold Coast and Brisbane Treasury

About your new role:

  • Manage client relationships that grow our VIP patron database to increase The Star Entertainment’s domestic market share, revenue, sales and profit
  • Develop customer-centric growth strategies that align to relevant compliance and statutory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to grow the domestic database through commercial relationships and subsequent revenues
  • Manage marketing trips and patron entertaining budget for maximum revenue growth
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to utilise property events and functions, ensuring direct mail offers are attractive for VIP patrons

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong experience in a previous sales role (hospitality environment highly desirable)
  • Flexibility to travel interstate once every 4-6 weeks (company paid)
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to influence and make decisions
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills to support achieving commercial outcomes
