This is a great opportunity to join our Remuneration squad which provides specialised rewards expertise and support to ANZ’s businesses while also leading and implementing ANZ-wide initiatives and rewards processes.
 
As a Senior Data Analyst for Pay, Remuneration and Reward (Employee Journey Expert) you will develop and deliver end-to-end employee journeys within the scope and mission of the Reward and Pay tribe. Your role will have a specific focus on remuneration data and reporting, including supporting a number of key initiatives in the delivery of our annual performance and remuneration review. Your ability to interrogate, validate and provide insights will enable you to support the maintenance and governance of our remuneration data and you will collaborate with team members, Talent & Culture (T&C) Business partners, and business leaders, as part of this process.  You will influence strategic direction by translating insights into practical recommendations and presenting data in digestible, logical and compelling ways and you will understand the power of data and analytics to improve the employee experience and deliver business value. At times you may also provide remuneration consulting and analysis services to deliver globally consistent processes that support ANZ's remuneration and reward strategy
 
Role purpose
This position will play a lead role in key cyclical remuneration and benefits analytics and reporting. The role will work across the ANZ group and diverse multi-geography requirements.
 
Role accountabilities:
 
Pay, Remuneration and Reward Analysis
  • Contribute analytical leadership and expertise to annual pay, remuneration and reward processes, partnering with Product Owners and business leaders to ensure an effective and timely delivery
  • Lead and coordinate external and internal remuneration data analysis including annual remuneration and incentives budget/pool sizing, gender pay gap and benchmarking
  • Provide analytical support and expertise to assist assess and manage legislation impacts and changes
  • Provide analytical support across the broader Talent and Culture community for performance and remuneration cycles, including improving HR data literacy
  • Lead and coordinate cyclical compliance reporting requirements (e.g. WGEA)
  • Champion, contribute to and implement process improvements to deliver efficiency and quality improvements, including supporting the implementation of new platforms
  • Strive for simplicity of data analysis and storytelling, able to uncover the meaning and consequences of analysis
Data Management and Governance
  • Play a leadership role and champion best practice data quality processes and controls
  • Effectively collaborate with the Enterprise Data Governance team to ensure the application of best practice principles and ANZ policy
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across ANZ
  • Build strong and effective relationships, collaborate and influence across the broader T&C Data Chapter
  • Provide data and HR data expertise to support pay, remuneration and reward activity
  • Effectively manage and lead cross functional work groups to delivery pay, remuneration and reward analytics
  • Actively contribute to the T&C Data, Analytics and Insights Chapter leadership team, including contributing to the development of the data team strategy
‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
  • Significant experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment
  • HR Data knowledge, specifically in Pay, Remuneration and Reward
  • A problem solver with the ability to think laterally in time critical situations
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and SuccessFactors highly desirable
  • Experience utilising Position Management
  • Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to develop, lead and manage effective cross-functional groups
  • Highly developed and outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to autonomously manage senior stakeholders (Tribe Leads)
  • Proven ability to work in and contribute to a high performing and collaborative team environment
  • The ability to operate proactively with autonomy, set priorities and work effectively to meet timelines
